Doctor’s App

A Virtual Doctor Consulation

The hybrid mobile application that acts as a health consultation platform for direct and speedy access to super specialty doctors across the country

The Client

One of India’s leading orthopedic surgeons who wanted to make specialised healthcare consultations available to everyone

The Challenge

Existing doctor consultation apps, while offering online consultations, don’t provide access to top-notch specialists across India and around the world.

The Goal

To develop a mobile app MVP that gives people access to the best doctors in every specialty, while testing the viability of the business model itself.

The process
first, we did our research.

We knew we needed to apply a lean start-up methodology to shorten product development cycles and develop a canvas to test the viability of the business model. We also assessed existing doctor consultation apps to identify problems and evaluate user needs.


Then we kept
it simple

We used mind maps to plan process flows to insure the interactions and features of the MVP would give prospective patients a smooth and easy consultation. Here’s what we did:

  • MVP application architecture
  • UX/UI prototyping, API development, and MVP application development
  • Integration of 3rd party video conferencing and chats which played key roles in developing a seamless experience.
  • Incorporation of patient privacy by the development of a method that purged health records once consultations were complete.
