The development of the crowdfunding portal that provides a platform for individuals and organisations to raise funds for creative ideas, causes, events, and community-led activities.
Fuel A Dream is a crowdfunding platform that is committed to radically changing the lives of 2.2 bn people in India and Africa. The organisation operates in the donation and rewards space and has built a virtual marketplace for ideas and causes that will dramatically alter how we fund what matters to us.
To develop an end-to-end crowdfunding platform with various roles across stakeholders, campaigns, rewards, dashboards, reports and integrations, all the while ensuring transparency between donors and project owners.
Fostering transparency and trust between project owners and project donors through the app was a top priority for our clients. We developed a model to validate project owner credentials, built in a system of real-time sharing of project progress, and implemented the auto-generation of receipts through the platform.
We took into account the specifics of the target audience, compliances, and statutory requirements. We used mind maps and user stories for each module and dependency, ensuring the design mapped every possible user flow. We incorporated standard third party API integrations and simplified end user actions across multiple interfaces.
Our team also took initiative in the suggestion and development of a POC of key product features including campaigns, the funder section, campaign dashboard, funding statistics, payment section, and more, as clickable prototypes which helped the FAD team sign off on requirements quicker and eliminate any process discrepancies during the developmental stages. It also hel ped the FAD team to pitch their concept to potential investors and prospective partners
